Justin M. Monehen appears on the BBC TV show The Slammer. Will he win the freedom show?

Justin M. Monehen filmed his act for BBCs The Slammer yesterday. The Bafta awarding winning TV show will be screening its third series this September and Justin will be one of the guest acts performing in the Freedom Show. Based on a make believe prison  for convicted variety artists, each act must perform on The Freedom Show in front of a live audience. The best act is then ‘set free’! Obviously we can’t give away the ending until the show airs in September – but it was an amazing day of filming and the audience loved the magic and illusions!

Justin has been busy this last term performing and teaching magic in schools up and down the country. Starting the school day with an interactive magic show  in which Justin talks about famous magicians and performs some of their classic tricks. this educational magic show brings the colourful history of magic to life! After the show, Justin takes a series of magic workshops tailored to meet the skill level of the individual class’ age groups. West End LIVE, the world’s largest free theatre festival, was a huge success with more than 250,000 people visiting Leicester Square over the weekend of June 20th – 21st. Justin M. Monehen performed his award winning magic act on the main stage and was the only illusionist invited to perform at the incredible event.

UK Magician Justin M. Monehen at the Ali Bongo Saturday Show at the Magic Circle, London.

Justin M. Monehen was honored to be asked to perform on stage as part of the Ali Bongo Saturday Show held at The Magic Circle Headquarters. This exciting, family event was watched by many of the Magic Circle’s younger members. After the show, Justin chatted with some of the next generation magicians, many of whom were already big fans of Freaky Body Illusions.

Justin has been asked to add a touch magic at the UK launch of Biotherm. A division of L’Oreal, Biotherm is the number one men’s skincare product world-wide and the UK launch in London this weekend is a prestigious event.

Justin will be performing specially created  magic effects with the Biotherm products along with classic magic tricks. Also at the event there will be jugglers, mime artists, many free samples and skincare experts to introduce this best selling product to the UK.

Justin M. Monehen is proud to have been asked to participate in a fantastic new educational project which will teach children about the rich history of magic and magicians. Touring around schools this summer, Justin is one of a handful of professional magicians who will be lecturing about the fascinating history of magicians and performing and demonsrating some of the classic illusions of magic.

Justin performing Zombie Magic at a Royal Halloween Party.

This halloween Justin had the pleasure of being invited to a very special royal party to perform his gory magic and freaky body illusions. The evening was a smashing success and everyone including the royal hosts had a great time. The private party at Buckingham Palace road was full of witches and zombies and even featured an (almost?) living vampire. Justin was asked to entertain the party guests and perform ‘horrible tricks’ such as pulling off his fingers, cutting in to his arm with a butcher’s knife and scaring the guests with an amazing living severed hand!
